The Information We Collect

Whenever you shop with Treasure Cup to buy specialty coffee and other products online we obtain from you the information we need to complete your transaction. Additionally, should you create an account with us, we'll also require you to create a username and password. This may include your Name, Address, Telephone Number, and E-mail Address. If you use a credit or debit card or pay by check, it will include your Account Number and Security Code. On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, if you order a gift online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's Address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are the Name, Address, Phone Number, (etc.).

We also collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information volunteered by you. We also collect information provided to us in the course of a subscription such as the Coffee Club and the information collected may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Name, E-mail Address, Postal Address, Telephone Number, etc. This information enables us to better tailor our content to subscribers' needs.

To improve our Web site, we collect non-personal information about how users navigate through the site.

Credit card information is used only for payment processing and fraud prevention. Credit card information and other sensitive personal information required to process a credit decision is not used for any other purpose.
