Ship Smart
At Treasure Cup Coffee Roasters we want to help you reduce your shipping cost. If you use a pound of whole bean coffee per week and you purchase four pounds of coffee chances are the last of the coffee you brew from that order will have a flavor and aroma nearly as good as the first. In fact few could tell the difference. This is because you are buying fresh roasted coffee. Unless you are purchasing your coffee directly from a local roaster chances are the coffee you are buying is weeks or even months old. We suggest that you order a thirty day supply with each order to minimize your shipping cost per pound of coffee. Follow these five points to save money without sacrificing quality.
- Order enough coffee for the month in one order
- Order bag sizes that will be used up within a week
- Grind the coffee just before brewing
- Do not open a bag until ready for use
- Store your coffee properly
When you order coffee
from us your coffee is roasted the next business day, packaged and shipped direct to you. If you have ordered
whole bean coffee chances are it has just reached perfection when it arrives and
will remain relatively unchanged for several weeks if the bag remains unopened.
In fact most coffees are not at their best for 30 hours after roasting and some
take up to three days, a little known fact. Our coffee is packaged in foil laminate barrier bags with
one-way valves. We use the highest quality bags available to ensure the coffee we
roast will remain fresh for weeks.
